Love Sweet Love ♥

So I am completely in love with the idea of having a "Sweet Bar" at our reception! I think it's a fun little twist to the tradition cake/dessert table... and it will provide some yummy snacks for our guests during the later part of our reception! So here are a few inspiration photos:



So far I just have a few large apothecary jars that I will have filled with either candy or small baked goods... I intend to buy one or two smaller, lidded jars and a pretty cake stand... and maybe even a few smaller sized candy dishes... we'll see how elaborate I'll allow this to get...

I have to say that I was pretty disappointed in my options for purple flowers... until I found these. BOY am I glad I found them! I had chosen the color purple as my "wedding color" before actually looking at flowers... and once I did start looking at flowers, I found nothing but ugly. These are super fun and pretty though! I'm excited to design the reception tables around them :)

Pretty Pretties!

So I have ordered the hair accessories for my maid of honor, Sarah, Penelope, my sisters (who will be my usherettes) and myself! They will be similar to the ones pictured above, but in a pretty purple color. I have ordered two of the large rosettes (one on a clip, one on a head band) and two of the smaller rosettes (one on a clip and one on a head band)... which ever one works best for Penelope's hair will go to her and the other three will go to Sarah and my sisters... then I also had one of the large rosettes made in white on a clip for my own hair :)

Feast your eyes, man! I am so so so excited about these beauties! This wonderful woman I met on Etsy.com is going to be custom making me a pair of the above sandals for the wedding! The only difference will be the gem on the toe plug, mine will have an ivory disk with a few rhinestones and stuff in them. GORGEOUS!
